Pre-Season Mini Tournament - Oct 16th, 2005

Castle Dragons and Castle Knights take on Stoke Spitfires (report by Mary) . 

On Sunday 16^th October, a couple of Castle teams somewhat resembling C2 and C3 warmed up against last season’s CEKL 2 winners Stoke Spitfires. Turn out from Castle was excellent, with a total of 19 participants. It was a baptism of fire for the newer Castle players, who performed admirably against much more experienced opposition. The level of play from Castle improved steadily throughout the afternoon, culminating in a well-deserved draw for the Dragons against Stoke. Thanks to all who made it an enjoyable afternoon.
